Doubters Make Great Change Agents
Johannes and I have had the opportunity to work with some amazing people and companies over the years. Recently, we've had the chance to learn from a 'change master', Owen Rogers, a partner at the international consulting and design firm IDEO.
In his recent article "Naysayers & Co-Conspirators: The Best Partners for Change", he tells the story of a recent project where a known skeptic actively engaged in the conversation about the problem and possible solutions. Give the article a read, then ask how you personally are perceived when it comes to changes in your organization. As Owen says,
“If you want to create change, you have to see that change in yourself first and foremost.”
